Bucknell University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music for 2023-2024, beginning August 2023, with the possibility of continuation for a second year. Doctorate in ethnomusicology, performance studies, musicology, or other closely-related fields. Teaching responsibilities include 6 courses per year (three classes per semester) including the Bucknell University Gamelan (2 courses) and introductory and upper-level global and/or popular music courses including Cross-Cultural Perspectives in Music (1 course), and other topical and thematic courses related to the candidate’s area of expertise (3 courses).

This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible, 10-month, non-tenure-track faculty position.
