Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs Lewisburg, PA
Bucknell University’s Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs is seeking an Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs for Wellness and Student Development. This position will report to the Associate Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs. The assistant director role is designed to provide the opportunity to work across the spectrum of fraternity and sorority life with a focus on also supporting individual leadership and development. Founded in 1855, Bucknell University’s Fraternity and Sorority community consists of sixteen nationally affiliated chapters, totaling approximately 1400 students or 53% of the eligible student body. Bucknell is home to 6 NIC fraternities, 7 NPC sororities, 1 MGC sorority, and 1 NPHC sorority and 1 NPHC fraternity. NIC fraternities are housed on campus and NPC, MGC and NPHC sororities are provided chapter residential and social space in Hunt Hall, the on-campus sorority residence hall.
Associate Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs Lewisburg, PA
Bucknell University is seeking an Associate Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs. This position will report to the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs and will have supervisory responsibilities for an Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs. The Associate Director will lead new member education initiatives, a multi-class year member leadership development program, and will oversee and advise one governing council, a portfolio of chapters, and individual student leaders. The Associate Director will also provide leadership for large-scale Greek life events, lead the annual chapter accreditation and awards process, and advise the Order of Omega. The Associate Director will work collaboratively in the design and execution of community and council-wide programming including: leadership training, community engagement, health and safety, risk management, hazing prevention and wellness. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, embrace teamwork and collaboration, and have the desire to be highly engaged with students and stakeholders. The position is a full-time, twelve-month position, with some evening and weekend hours expected.
