The purpose of this posting is to build and maintain a pool of candidates for casual and short term positions to provide clerical/administrative support to various departments at Bucknell University. Casual positions are available depending on University or department needs including peak or high workloads, temporarily filling positions during organizational change, and covering staff absences.

The casual pool, maintained by Human Resources, is not designed to be an automatic temporary to permanent arrangement. However, on occasion, a regular (non-casual) position may become available in the department in which you work. Based on your performance, you may be invited to apply to be considered for the regular position along with other applicants.
It is important to note that applying to the casual pool does not guarantee employment. The application will provide us with information about your skills, experience and qualifications so that we can contact you if a suitable casual vacancy arises.
If you would like to be considered for casual employment with Bucknell University, please complete the online application which will include a resume, cover letter, and professional references. Please use the cover letter to expand upon skills and experience as well as your availability.
