Tenure-Track position in Political Science (American Politics) Lewisburg, PA
Bucknell University’s Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in American Politics beginning in the fall semester of 2020. We expect to hire at the Assistant Professor level but are open to considering outstanding candidates at other ranks. We seek candidates whose scholarly and teaching interests include race and ethnic politics in the U.S.  The successful candidate will be prepared to teach a core course in American politics, a course in race and ethnic politics, a course in quantitative or qualitative research methods, and other American politics courses in the candidate’s areas of specialization.

Bucknell Facilities is seeking a skilled Carpenter who is experienced in utilizing hand and machine wood working tools, making repairs and renovations, and the construction of cabinets and countertops as well as other carpentry skills. We are looking to hire either a Carpenter I or a Carpenter II – and while both positions will need some computer skills to be able to complete bills of materials, layouts and as-builts, and interpret sketches and plans, and assists with project development, the Carpenter II position will need extensive experience in the carpentry field and an ability to provide leadership on assigned projects.
