Under the direction of the Director of Project & Initiative Management, the Project Manager provides coordination, planning, business analysis, resourcing collaboration, and overall project leadership for a broad range of L&IT and campus-related programs, projects, and initiatives. This position requires frequent high-quality contact with faculty, staff, stakeholders and vendors in defining scope, managing deadlines, aligning to budgets, instilling accountability, assigning responsibilities and preparing reports regarding the status of the assigned projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple complex to moderately complex, and small to medium-sized projects from conception to closeout; responsible for overall on time and within budget project delivery.
Execute project planning, through requirement gathering, scoping, scheduling, testing, operational transition and establishment of success criteria.
Apply both Business Analyst (BA) and Project Management (PM) skills, processes and artifacts efficiently and appropriately to predictably achieve project success.
Manage project communication, including the establishment of communication plans and structures, ensuring that stakeholders, team members, and L&IT leadership are informed and engaged throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Maintain project documentation including regular status reporting on assigned projects.
Collaborate with leadership to determine project resource requirements and roles based on project requirements, timeframes, and budgets.
Establish priorities and demonstrate discipline and independent judgment.
Interact effectively with academic and administrative department leadership and managers.
Maintain technical competencies related to project management and business analysis disciplines.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Three years of project management experience
Experience in project requirements processes and/or functional analysis
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral)
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate across a diverse organization
Demonstrated ability to lead projects within business, functional, and/or technology organizations
Prior involvement with high-visibility projects and managing multiple projects concurrently
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Professional certifications in ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent
Experience with Agile project management
Higher education experience
